Good News for Bizarro

Posted: July 21, 2011 in Uncategorized

It’s been a good few days for Bizarro. I’m enjoying somewhat more substantial sales of Jimmy Plush and more reviews, which is always nice. But bigger things have been happening for Bizarro than me and my angry little bear enjoying a more steady stream of exposure.

First of all, I’d like to congratulate John Skipp for reaching his $20,000 Kickstarter goal! This means that Rose: the Bizarro Zombie Puppet Musical has a fighting chance to happen. A Bizarro film directed by a horror and splatpunk legend and featuring puppets, music and a drop dead gorgeous and very funny leading lady will be a blessing on the genre, its fans, its writers and everybody who likes things that are cool and great.

Second, I’d like to point out to you that many Bizarro books are on sale on Amazon 4 for the price of 3. That’s pretty sweet. Four Bizarro books for about 27 dollars is amazing. If you like Bizarro and you like owning things, this is a perfect storm of values. Yeah, I hate myself for saying that, too. But I’m still doing you a favor. Carlton Mellick gives you the scoop and a selection of titles.

But this third thing, if you haven’t heard about it is going to blow your mind as it blowed mind. is addicted enough that the e and the d are unnecessary. is the closest thing we have to time travel. Log onto Cracked and suddenly, you will find it’s three hours later, you’ve gotten no work done and you know many things you probably didn’t need to. And now Bizarro is ON CRACKED! This article is affectionate, funny and fair. And it rules. You should read it.

Everything’s coming up weird!
